“Shimaliy Sokh” UGSF is actively making preparations for the autumn-winter period.50 solar nightlights have been set up on the grounds of the Shimaliy Sokh underground gas storage facility in an effort to reduce the use of energy.
The filters in the oil cooling system of the linear gas compressor station's units were changed at the same time in order to get ready for the next fall and winter.
Moreover, 400 mm ball valves of the second gas compressor station's gas cooling pipeline were fixed and put back in place.
By “Uztransgaz” JSC's directive, it was planned to create 248 control and measurement equipment (NO'U) in the construction shop, and more than 100 pieces of equipment have been produced thus far in order to raise the degree of electro-chemical protection of the main gas pipelines.
KS-1, KS-2, and LKS (linear compressor station) are three gas pumping stations, 2 gas cleaning and drying shops, and 1 gas measuring station are all part of the 1978-founded "Shimaliy Sokh" underground gaz storage facility. The gaz mining complex spans 213 km.
On 999 hectares of land, underground gas storage "Shimaliy Sokh" supplies 152 gas wells in 3 gas collection points. 330 people are now employed at the facility.
